Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts working 36 hours per week
• Shift time: 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Must have current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Strong OB experience required
• Must be a team player with ability to function with minimum supervision once oriented
• Prefer one year of current acute care experience, but new graduates may be considered
• Physical requirements include ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and wheelchair to bed level
• Must be able to lift 5 pounds overhead and pull 50 pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet required
• Auditory ability to perform procedures and take accurate blood pressures
• Vision adequate to observe patients and perform charting procedures
• Responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care
• Any requested time off must be pre-approved and added to the end of contract
