Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Variable days, Monday through Friday
• Call required, including weekends
• 13-week assignment
• No float required
• Work in the Operating Room and GI/Endoscopy Suite
• Assist surgeons and proceduralists by providing basic instruments and sterile techniques for procedures performed in the Endoscopy Suite and Operating Room
• Responsible for the care, handling, and maintenance of surgical equipment
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• Minimum 2 years of scrubbing complex Endoscopy cases required
• Must have experience with endoscope reprocessing via automatic high level disinfection processes (Olympus OER)
• Extensive complex GI experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a surgical technologist program required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Hospital laundered scrubs provided
