CVOR RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse with cardiovascular operating room experience for a 91-day travel assignment at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. You'll work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on a full-time basis.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex cardiovascular surgery nursing care
• Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers
• Practice independently with awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as required

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Louisiana or multistate compact privilege
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 8, 2026
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days
• Weekly pay: $2,920
