Physical Therapist Job in Lewistown, MO

Tide Health Group - Country Aire is seeking a Physical Therapist for a long-term care position in Lewistown, MO. This is a full-time temporary role working 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend obligations unless a holiday falls on a weekday.

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,534.40
• Assignment duration: 91 days, starting June 15, 2026
• Shift: 5x8 days (no on-call responsibilities)
• Overtime and holiday pay at 1.25x rate

Your Responsibilities:

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice for clinical interventions
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments according to clinical records and regulatory requirements
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in patient care conferences and utilization review meetings
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students

Requirements:

• Missouri state physical therapy license
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• New graduates accepted with Level II fieldwork experience (Level I observation experience is not sufficient)
• Adherence to APTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
