PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Outpatient

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with ASAP start
• 5x8 day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Outpatient setting primarily
• 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Kansas state license or compact license required (will accept pending KS license)
• Required certification: BLS
• Approximately 5 patient visits per day
• Skills required include: acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation, skilled nursing facility (SNF), body mechanics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, home exercise program, and patient/family education
• May be required to float to different units
• No specific charting system required
• 1 reference required
