Occupational Therapist Rehab Job in Delta, CO

You'll work in rehabilitation at Delta County Memorial Hospital, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. This role centers on assessment, treatment planning, and helping patients regain functional independence.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess patients and interpret evaluations to develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Implement comprehensive therapy programs to help patients restore physical and mental functioning
• Direct rehabilitation aides, technicians, and assistants in patient care activities
• Design and instruct patients and families in home exercise programs for continued progress
• Prepare patients for return to employment through consultation and retraining
• Evaluate progress regularly and adjust treatment plans in consultation with the multidisciplinary team
• Complete discharge planning and coordinate with healthcare team members
• Maintain detailed documentation of all patient care services
• Ensure safe working environment and proper equipment maintenance
• Supervise rehabilitation support staff

Required qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Occupational Therapy License
• Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) registration
• BLS certification
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
• Capacity for prolonged walking, bending, stooping, and squatting with full range of joint movement
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and computers

Previous occupational therapy experience is preferred. This is a 91-day assignment beginning June 18, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,628.
