CT Technologist Job in Alliance, NE

Box Butte General Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join the imaging department in Alliance, Nebraska. This is a travel position beginning September 29, 2026, for an 88-week assignment on a 4x10 night shift schedule.

About the Role

You will support a special CT upgrade project launching at the end of September. Your responsibilities include operating a 40-slice Siemens CT scanner equipped with dual head Bayer/MedRad injector, managing X-ray services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings, and participating in an on-call rotation for both CT and X-ray areas. The majority of your caseload will be outpatient and orthopedic cases. You can expect to process approximately 150 CT scans per month and 80 MRI scans monthly. X-ray services are provided through 2 fixed rooms plus one portable unit.

Schedule and On-Call

You will work night shifts (4x10 configuration) with a rotating call schedule that typically includes one weekend per month. The call schedule begins Friday night, includes a 24-hour shift on Saturday, and back-up call on Sunday.

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification required
• Nebraska license required prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of experience in X-ray and CT
• CT experience required
• BLS certification issued through American Heart Association required
• Experience with Meditech Expanse computer charting preferred
• Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare services are not available in the area)
