Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• 5 eight-hour day shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Block scheduling type
• Weekend coverage required, including on-call overnight on-call shifts
• CVOR call required; may float to support general OR as needed
• Must have at least 2 years of OR CST experience with travel experience, or 3 years of OR CST experience without travel experience
• Open heart experience required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, CST (NBSTSA only - no other certifications accepted)
• Experience with special procedures including CABG, major vascular, endovascular, general surgery, and robotic surgery
• Special equipment experience required: Intuitive XI and DV5 robot
• Key skills include CVOR, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement (SAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), TEVAR, VATS, and robotic surgery
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays if all three fall within the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 holidays if only 2 fall within the assignment
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• 24 orientation hours provided
