Special Procedures Technologist Job in Wilkes-Barre, PA

You will work as an Interventional Technologist in the Interventional Radiology Lab at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• Every weekend included with one rotating weekday off
• Optional call shifts available; no required call or holiday commitments
• Weekly pay: $3,110.40

Role Responsibilities

You will support interventional radiology procedures across all types of cases. Your duties include circulating, scrubbing, filming, and billing procedures. You will work in a high-acuity environment performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cases in a trauma center setting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of interventional radiology experience
• Current RT(R) certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Demonstrated competency in circulating, scrubbing, filming, and IR procedure billing

Preferred Qualifications

• VI (Vascular Interventional) certification
