RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care Med Surg and Neuro experience required
• Float requirements as needed within scope
• Willingness for occasional charge nurse responsibilities required
• EMR system: EPIC
• FIT test required on site for equipment
• Dress code: Black scrubs
• Contract duration 13-26 weeks
• Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday
• Provide patient care in neurosurgical unit focusing on stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological diagnoses
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients and coordinate care with other departments
