Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with call and/or holidays required; weekend-only position also available
• On-call required: 6 call shifts in a 6-week period, which may vary
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• No block scheduling
• Float required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
• Circulate required; scrub preferred
• OR RNs must be well-rounded and current in most areas except CV and Transplant, as floating will occur where needed
• Core 6 unit covers Mids, Nights, and Weekends; must have 3 out of 4 of the following: Neuro, Ortho, General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, GU, Trauma, and Robotics
• Average daily census of 70–80 patients across 21–24 rooms
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking is free
• Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Special equipment: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• 3 years of experience required; minimum 2 years of Level I Trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma experience is a hard stop requirement
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: General OR, Trauma, Craniotomy, Total joint replacement, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Gynecologic robotic surgery, Orthopedic robotic surgery, Neurological robotic surgery, Colorectal robotic surgery, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Whipple, Prostatectomy, Lumbar fusion, Laminectomy/discectomy, and additional surgical specialties
