Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float team position serving multiple units including observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units
• 13-week contract assignment
• Guaranteed 36-48 hours per week (minimum 36 hours, overtime after 48 hours)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:6 on nights, occasionally 1:7
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), active RN or compact license, NIHSS
• Minimum 1-2+ years Med/Surg experience required
• Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem
• Epic charting experience required within the past 2 years
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Scrub colors: No bright colors or character prints allowed
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Candidates must start medical compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance
