Med/Surg RN Job in Havre, MT

Northern Montana Health Center is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in our Medical-Surgical unit. You will work a rotating shift schedule and earn $2,233.80 per week. Your assignment begins July 1, 2026.

In this role, you will function as a self-motivated, professional registered nurse responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. You will provide care for both pediatric and adult patients across our medical-surgical unit, serving a diverse patient population. Your clinical knowledge must reflect the developmental and physiological needs of the ages you serve.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct patient care aligned with professional nursing practice standards
• Planning and implementing individualized care plans for assigned patients
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Functioning as a resource person and professional advocate for your patients
• Maintaining accountability for the scope and quality of nursing care provided

This position is open to out-of-state travelers. In-state candidates must be willing to travel a minimum of 250 miles from the facility.

You must hold a current RN license. Experience in medical-surgical nursing with exposure to both pediatric and adult populations is expected. You should demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with nursing and clinical staff in a rotating schedule environment.
