Speech Language Pathologist Job in Wausau, Wisconsin

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel contract. You will work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with 40 guaranteed hours per week (excluding orientation week).

Your Responsibilities

• Perform cognitive evaluations with adult patients
• Conduct bedside swallow evaluations
• No float, on-call, weekend, or holiday rotation requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in speech language pathology
• Current Wisconsin state licensure
• CCC-A or CCC-SLP certification
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Compensation & Details

• Weekly pay: $2,698
• Contract duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Any color scrubs permitted

Additional Information

The contract is eligible for up to 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. You may be placed on call for low census hours, which count toward your 36-hour allocation. If called back to the facility, a 2-hour minimum applies for call back pay. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times per facility policy.
