Opportunity:

Sonographer - Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with varied weekend call
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Must have both echo and vascular registries and experience in both
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Charting system: Allscripts/Altera (Altera experience preferred, not required)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCS, CCI RVS, RDCS, RDCS - RVT
• Patients seen include adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1 patient per day with approximately 21 visits per day across 3 rooms
• Required skills include: 3-D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Emergency Department, ICU, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, 12 Lead EKG/ECG, PACS, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Treadmill Stress Echo
• Equipment used includes: GE E95, GE E9, and Toshiba APLIO 300
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
