ICU Registered Nurse Job in Saint Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in our Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,237.67 weekly, starting July 13, 2026.

Role Overview

You will float across multiple ICU settings, including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units. Patient ratios are 2:1 on all ICU shifts. When census is low, you may float to inpatient floors with ratios of no more than 1:3, or serve as a patient sitter if needed. You will care for adults and geriatrics; adolescents between 16–18 years old (adult size/weight) are rare but possible. Every other weekend is required, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule plus holiday rotation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience plus minimum 1 year CV ICU experience
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Ventilator management, IV start, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Cardiac skills: Swan-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips, and CRRT
• Triage, ICP monitoring, PA lines, and Level 1 Trauma experience
• CCRN, ONS, TNCC, and CPI certifications
• Chemotherapy administration and Epic charting system experience

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Free parking is available. Scrub color is navy blue.
