Opportunity:

RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
• Minimum 2 years experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong neuro assessment skills required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed
• Neuro Interventionalist experience is a plus
• Care for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Perform neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Assist with bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be able to work independently and manage tasks in a timely manner
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Mask required during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
