CT Technologist Job in Laurinburg, NC

Scotland Memorial Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Laurinburg, NC. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with 40 hours per week guaranteed and block scheduling.

Compensation and Contract Details

• Weekly pay: $2,921

Role Responsibilities

You will perform CT imaging across multiple anatomical regions including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and vascular chest studies. Advanced imaging duties include brain perfusion, carotid studies, heart imaging (calcium scoring and coronary angiography), and enterography studies. You will conduct 3D rendering techniques such as maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering, along with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurements (ROI).

You will participate in biopsy and aspiration procedures, drainage procedures, and CT arthrography. Clinical skills include starting peripheral IVs, performing venipuncture, preparing and administering contrast media, and maintaining radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions. You will support emergency department and ICU patient imaging needs and float within the hospital as needed. Patient ratio is 1:1, with approximately 20 patient visits per day across 2 rooms, serving adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (3 years preferred)
• ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred

Technical Environment

You will work with the Philips iSite/Intellispace PACS system and Epic charting platform. Scotland Memorial Hospital provides a structured orientation period to ensure you are comfortable with facility-specific workflows and equipment.
