Cath Lab Technologist Job in Omaha, NE

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, supporting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026.

Schedule and Location

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call requirements: 1–2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month, rotating holidays with 30-minute call response time
• Float as needed between three campuses: Bergan Mercy, Lakeside, and Immanuel (Omaha area)
• You must live within a 50-mile radius
• Set your daily schedule with some self-scheduling flexibility for call shifts

Your Role

• Scrub in and assist physicians during procedures
• Monitor and document cases using the EPIC EMR system
• Handle 1–3 cases per day on average in single suite/lab settings
• Work with patients diagnosed with CAD and AMI (both inpatient and outpatient adults)
• Support left heart catheterizations, stent placement, ICD, and pacemaker procedures
• Operate equipment including Siemens cath, Siemens sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required
• Current ARRT or RCIS registration
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal
• Travel experience preferred but not required

• Hospital supplies scrubs; artificial nails are prohibited and refusal to comply will result in contract termination
• You cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility during this assignment
• Orientation: 1–3 days at each of the three campuses

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,212.
