PACU RN Job in Kingman, Arizona

You will work as a Registered Nurse in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Kingman Healthcare, caring for patients throughout the perioperative experience. This position offers you the opportunity to float between Preoperative, PACU, and Phase 2 Recovery units, providing comprehensive nursing care across all three settings.

Position Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week on a days schedule
• On-call requirement for weeknights and weekends, totaling 3–5 shifts per month
• 91-day contract beginning May 4, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,156.54

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare preoperative patients for surgery and provide comprehensive preoperative assessment
• Monitor and provide postoperative care for patients in immediate recovery
• Maintain established nurse-to-patient ratios: 2 RNs at all times in Preop/PACU, 1 RN to 2 patients in PACU after the first 15 minutes, and 1 RN to 3 patients in Phase 2 Recovery
• Work within units featuring Preop (8 bays), PACU (7 bays), and Phase 2 Recovery (8 bays)

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all AHA-required)
• 3–5 years of Preoperative/PACU experience preferred
