Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts in a Med Surg Ortho unit with floating to Med Surg/Tele units as needed
• Patient ratios of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with self-scheduling
• Must float to other MS/Tele units as needed based on census concerns
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year recent experience within a large healthcare facility with strong ortho experience
• Travel experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Must have at least 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must complete EKG exam during onboarding
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Modules are billable up to 16 hours and completed annually
• Care for adult patients with various diagnoses including orthopedic conditions
• Work with interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must provide social security number with submittal
