Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 12-bed medical surgical telemetry unit
• EKG/Telemetry background preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (for charge nurses)
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call requirements
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Special equipment used: Alaris Pumps
• Accept first-time travelers and less than 2 years of experience
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Must have 2 years of specialty experience
• Strict no call-in policy enforced
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• AHA certifications required
• NURSYS reports must be submitted with profile and up to date within 4 weeks
• 2 Manager/Supervisor references required for clearance to start
• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility until event passes
