Oncology RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an experienced RN for a travel position in their Bone Marrow Transplant unit within the Oncology/Hematology department. This is a 12-week assignment beginning November 30, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday and Sunday, 12 hours each)
• Holiday shifts as needed
• 1 call requirement
• Weekly pay: $2,233.80

Clinical Role

You will provide direct patient care in a specialized BMT setting with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity. You may float to stepdown, critical care, oncology, and acute care specialties units as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in stepdown or critical care nursing
• Competency in blood administration, electrolyte replacement, and neuro assessment
• Central line dressing changes and high-risk/hazardous drug administration
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and IV drips
• Preferred: oncology/hematology experience, chemotherapy administration, and BMT exposure

Equipment & Systems

You will work with ventilators, Alaris Pumps, Philips monitors, Stryker beds, Sara Steady patient lifts, and the EPIC and Beacon EMR systems.

Certifications & Requirements

• BLS required
• ACLS and ONS chemotherapy immunotherapy certificate preferred
• Navy scrubs only; facility-approved scrubs and t-shirts with no outside branding
