PCU RN Job in Springfield, MA

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 90-day travel nursing assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide direct nursing care to patients requiring step-down level of care in the Intermediate Care setting. This role involves monitoring and assessing patient progress, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients transitioning from acute to lower acuity care levels
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary team members
• Respond to patient needs and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Support safe and effective patient transitions within the facility

Shift and Pay

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, earning $2,316.60 weekly. This assignment is for 90 days.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Relevant clinical certifications as required by the facility
