ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This 91-day travel assignment runs from May 10, 2026, and offers a competitive opportunity to deliver acute care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Shift Details

• 12.5-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend rotation required

Your Role

You will provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients and manage inpatient hold patients. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, acuity-based ratio management, and acute interventions in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and respond to changing clinical needs throughout your shift.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure
• Experience managing patient ratios based on acuity levels
• Ability to provide emergency department nursing care
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Preferred: experience with emergency department holds and inpatient management

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,342.34
