Certified Surgical Technologist in Kealakekua, HI

Kona Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team in Kealakekua, Hawaii. You will work 4 shifts of 10 hours per week, with call responsibilities as needed.

About the Role

As a scrub tech, you will prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for a variety of procedures. Your experience should span general surgeries, traumas, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and endoscopies. You will maintain sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, and ensure all instruments are accounted for and properly handled throughout each case.

What You Bring

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Proven experience scrubbing in general surgery, trauma, orthopedic, OBGYN, and endoscopic cases
• Strong understanding of surgical protocols and aseptic technique
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff
