OR Registered Nurse Job in Ketchum, Idaho

St Lukes Wood River Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Operating Room in Ketchum, Idaho. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 6, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,880.

Schedule and On-Call Requirements

• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with adjustments as needed)
• Weeknight call: approximately 4 weeknights per month, 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with possible increases based on staffing needs
• Weekend call: typically 1 full weekend per month, 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Holiday call may be assigned if a holiday falls during your contract period
• Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call

Clinical Environment

• Support 4 surgical suites plus 1 endoscopy suite, averaging 8 cases per day
• Common cases include orthopedics (total joints, sports medicine, hands, trauma), general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Strong orthopedic background required; endoscopy experience needed
• Robotics experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating room cleaning and turnover alongside the orderly team
• Float to endoscopy as part of OR team coverage requirements

Requirements and Preparation

• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Current BLS certification; ACLS recommended
• 5 days of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor provided

Systems and Logistics

• Charting: Epic; instrument tracking via TDOC; endoscopy procedures use ProVation
• Blue scrubs provided per surgical services policy; OR shoes required
• Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
