Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Maintain 1:2 patient staffing ratios
• 3 years of nursing experience required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgery procedures
• Cardiac surgery experience required: CABGs, Aortic/Mitral Valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, LVADs
• Experience with Vascular/Thoracic surgery preferred (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, open AAA)
• PA or compact license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• 5 on-call shifts per month with varying days and hours
• Weekend on-call requirement
• No holiday requirement
• Float to other OR services when cardiac volume is low (General, Urology, ENT) - average once per week
• Epic charting system experience
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 32-room facility
