Respiratory Therapist Job in Cookeville, TN

Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for their Respiratory and Neuro Diagnostics department. This is a 91-day travel position starting November 2, 2026, offering nights with flexibility and stability.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 nights with rotating weekend requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,002
• Guaranteed hours: 12-hour call-off allowance per 2-week period
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Current Tennessee license required (TN or compact license accepted); pending licenses not eligible
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred but not required; nursery experience is helpful to the department

Facility Information

Cookeville Regional Medical Center provides a smoke-free campus with free parking. You will use the Paragon charting system. Scrub color is your choice. Tattoos below the neck are permitted; any inappropriate tattoos must be covered. Earrings in locations other than ears must be removed.

Candidate Requirements

You must be a travel candidate and reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cookeville. Local candidates are not accepted for this role.
