GGH Level 1 RN Med/Surg 3N - PT D/N

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Acute Care Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Part-time position requiring 24 hours plus 2 on-call shifts within a 4-week period<br>• Rotational schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays<br>• Provide care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions<br>• Apply nursing knowledge and technical skills in delivering compassionate patient care<br>• Assess patient and family needs, develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team<br>• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes<br>• Conduct patient and family education to assist with self-care beyond hospitalization<br>• Promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment<br>• Demonstrate skills in medication administration and various nursing interventions<br>• Required certifications: NYS RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS<br>• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required<br>• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families.
