Respiratory Therapist Job in Largo, FL

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for backfill coverage. You'll join a 286-bed facility providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients across multiple departments.

Your Role

• Work the night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, three days per week
• Float between the main hospital and the psych/rehab department at Largo West campus
• Perform nebulizer treatments, arterial blood gas draws from A-lines and peripheral sticks
• Assist with intubations, codes, and rapid responses
• Manage ventilator equipment including Servo and 840 models
• Provide critical care respiratory support with strong assessment skills

What We're Looking For

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Critical care skills and ventilator management experience required
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Comfortable functioning in a busy environment and demonstrating strong teamwork
• EMR system experience preferred, specifically Meditech
• Ventilator experience preferred

• Day shift has six therapists and a supervisor for reference
• Gray scrubs required as part of dress code
• Parking available in garage on third and fourth floors
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: December 30, 2025
• Weekly pay: $1,576.80
