PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with holiday coverage required
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• First time travelers accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Care for patients across age groups including infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Floating is required - candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• Required skills include: administration of blood and blood products, care of ventilated patients, central line/implanted line care, infection control/PPE, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, pediatric dosage calculations, PICC line management, and PICU experience
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Indiana nursing license must be in hand prior to submission
