SLP Speech Therapist Job in Cumming, GA

Join Northside Hospital Forsyth as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a focused 13-week travel assignment. You'll work a standard 5x8 days schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional shift variations based on patient needs.

About the Role

You'll support acute care patients across the hospital, working from physician referrals to deliver evidence-based speech and swallow therapy. Your patient population will span medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU cases with complex needs. You'll treat patients managing stroke and neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive impairments—drawing on your clinical expertise to restore function and improve quality of life.

What You'll Need

• Current Georgia License for SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 15–18 months of recent experience in speech-language pathology
• Prior acute care experience strongly preferred
• MBS/FEES proficiency valued but not required
