Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - OT Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work either Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or Friday-Monday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM shift schedules
• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in an inpatient setting
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and screenings
• Develop individualized treatment plans with functional goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient care progress and continuing treatment needs
• Provide patient and family education to achieve treatment goals
• Complete billing accurately by end of each shift
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Assist with orientation of new staff and student programs
• Must have 2 years inpatient and ARU setting experience
• Recent experience with adult and geriatric populations required
• Current Arizona OT license required
• BLS and AED certification through American Heart Association required
• Must be able to lift and transfer patients and equipment
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation required
• 50-mile radius restriction for local candidates
