PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 schedule)
• No weekend coverage required
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling accommodated for this Monday-Friday position
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and state license
• No on-call responsibilities
• 4-hour orientation provided
• RTO restrictions: No time off within first two weeks due to orientation, limit RTO to one week
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 7 patients
• Handle variable diagnoses in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Must have experience with acute care, assistive devices, gait training, orthopedics, and various rehabilitation techniques
