Position Overview

You will deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of radiation oncologists. Your work is critical to patient outcomes in the oncology setting, requiring precision, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments according to oncologist prescriptions and treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
  • Position patients accurately to ensure precise treatment delivery
  • Monitor patients during treatments and watch for adverse reactions
  • Maintain comprehensive treatment records and documentation
  • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and regulatory procedures
  • Collaborate with the radiation oncology team, including physicians, medical physicists, and nursing staff
  • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and treatment delivery systems
  • Educate patients about their treatment process and provide emotional support

Schedule & Compensation

This position offers 3x12 night shifts. You will earn $2,172.60 per week. The assignment is 89 days, allowing you to gain focused experience in a respected academic medical center.
