CVOR Technologist Job in Fort Myers, FL

Health Park Medical Center is seeking a CVOR Technologist to join its cardiovascular operating room team in Fort Myers, FL. This is a 103-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work as a surgical technologist specializing in cardiovascular and open heart procedures. You are expected to function as core staff within the unit, maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Varied start times
• On-call requirement: approximately one weekend per month and one to two days per week from end of shift to 6:30 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,187.81

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years of surgical tech experience
• Heavy cardiac and open heart surgical experience required
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• BLS certification required
• CST certification preferred

Important Information

• Floating is required. Travel staff are first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application. Time off requests will not be approved after submission
