CVICU RN Job in Denver, CO

You will work as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Denver, Colorado. This is a travel position lasting 13 weeks, beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60
• Patient ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiac care to patients in the CVICU
• Monitor patients using cardiac monitoring equipment, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• Perform clinical procedures including intubations and central line placements
• Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with the charge RN, 8 staff RNs, and patient care technicians on the day shift

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member with patient care as the priority
