Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage every other weekend, subject to change based on need
• Floating to other units may be required based on census needs
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the ER field required
• First-time travelers will be reviewed based on skill and experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Patient age groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, Tennessee RN license
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Key clinical skills required include: triage, IV insertion and management, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, arterial line management, central line care, chest tube management, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, care of ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, splint application and management, psychiatric hold management, and isolation precautions/PPE
