Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week for 16-20 week contracts
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on nights, 1:5 on weekends
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float requirement - may be required to float to main campus 32 minutes away
• Self-scheduling system
• 24 hours of unit orientation
• Must wear navy blue or white scrubs
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or MS/Tele experience required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, Telemetry
• Must be able to work holidays and participate in Storm Team/Hurricane Team assignments
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
• Skills include wound care, IV management, blood product administration, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, feeding tube care, and isolation precautions
• Electronic documentation using Epic charting system
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved per contract (excluding holidays)
• Must complete pre-start modules within first 24 hours
• Interdisciplinary support includes PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
