Cath Lab Technologist Job in Dubuque, IA

UnityPoint—Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x9 shifts (days) at $3,006.72 per week, with a start date of September 21, 2026.

Role Overview

You will handle approximately 4 patients and scans per day, working with advanced cardiac equipment including the Artis Zee C-arm, Impella, IABP, and Acist Injector. Your responsibilities include performing and assisting with peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures. The facility provides hospital scrubs in light blue.

Requirements

• 24 months of current Cardiac/Cath Lab experience
• Completion of at least 1 travel contract within the previous 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• ARRT or CVT certificate
• ARRT or CCI—RCIS certification
• Active AHA or ARC ACLS certification
• Active AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy
• Proficiency and comfort with peripheral and coronary angiography cases
• Proficiency and comfort with PCI and pacemaker procedures
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath discipline
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants accepted but must apply for license upon offer acceptance
• Residence at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience

• Impella experience
• Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS experience

Holiday Scheduling

You will be required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
