Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

Job Details:

• 40-hour day shift position with alternating 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling type
• Patient ratio of 20 patients per day
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work across acute care settings including orthopedics, transplant, med/surg, neurology, and ICU
• 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
• Must have completed a minimum of 1 previous travel assignment
• Acute care working setting preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• LTAC experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Charting system experience preferred; Cerner experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• DC license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Required skills include: Cardiopulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, and Orthopedics
• Additional skills include: Adaptive Devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Arousal and Attention, Assessment, Assistive Devices, Bed Alarms, Body Mechanics, Crutches, Discharge Planning, Evaluation, Gait Belt, Hoyer Lift, Identifying Environmental Barriers, Long and Short Term Goal Setting, Lower Extremity Prosthetics, Neurology, Pain Assessment, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Rolling Walker, Sensory Response, Sit to Stand Lift, Skin Integrity, Sliding Boards, Soft/Hard Collars, Specialty Beds, Standard Walker, Strength Testing, Supplemental Oxygen Delivery, Time Management, and Vital Sign Monitoring
• No weekend shifts required per contract
• Up to one pre-approved time off request permitted
