RN - Med Surg/Tele Float

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Care for 5-6 patients requiring in-patient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues/procedures
• Work with equipment including Pyxis medication station, Meditch charting, Alariz IV pumps, and remote telemetry system
• Must be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week (weekends are Saturday and Sunday)
• Work on unit with up to one other nurse and LNA/UC
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5-6:1
• Required to float to all med surg remote tele units on 2nd and 3rd floors
• Occasional float to PCU when needed (required)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• Must be EKG competent
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Active Arizona nursing license required and must be in good standing
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Orientation includes 2-3 shifts on the floor plus 8 hours of hospital orientation on Monday
