Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

You'll work as an RN on a 30-bed orthopedic unit at HCA HealthONE Swedish CO in Denver. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 day shifts, running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You'll earn $1,708.20 weekly.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care to a diverse orthopedic population, including elective and trauma patients. Your typical patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6. You'll perform standard nursing procedures including IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization, CPM application, and early mobilization support. You'll also work with specialized equipment such as continuous passive motion (CPM) machines, nerve block pumps, and On-Q balls.

Your Team

You'll work alongside a charge nurse, 4–6 bedside RNs, and 2–4 PCTs on the unit. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience as an Orthopedic RN
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Med/Surg experience
• ACLS certification
• Meditech EMR experience

Assignment begins July 20, 2026.
