ED RN Supervisor Job in Morrisville, VT

You'll work as an RN in the Emergency Department at Copley Health Systems, Inc., taking on both clinical and supervisory responsibilities. This is an 8-hour shift position based in Morrisville, Vermont, with a 91-day contract beginning April 6, 2026.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care using the nursing process while maintaining Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and specialty-specific standards. You'll assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to other staff levels and supervisory duties that span managing daily unit flow, supporting team lead staff, and handling staff scheduling and call-out issues.

When census is high or call-outs occur that cannot be backfilled, you'll step into patient assignments. You'll perform triage duties as needed and represent your unit at house-wide bed huddles.

Qualifications

• RN degree required
• Minimum 5 years emergency department nursing experience
• Leadership experience preferred

• Manage unit operations and team coordination
• Address scheduling needs and staffing gaps
• Perform patient triage
• Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and policies

Compensation and Schedule

You'll earn $2,920 per week. The 91-day contract gives you the flexibility of a travel position while working full-time in a dynamic emergency setting.
