PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment
• Weekend day required as department operates 7 days a week
• Average daily census of 11 patients
• 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
• No on-call requirements
• May be asked to float to surrounding clinics
• Business casual dress code required
• Current Arizona license required (must have AZ license in hand)
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• AZ fingerprint clearance card required
• Preferred generalist who is confident with medical diagnoses
• Ability to manage moderate to maximum assistance patients
• Experience with co-treatments and ventilated patients preferred
• Must be able to pivot easily and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day
• Patient transport to/from treatment experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Utilize Cerner charting system
• 8 hours of orientation provided
