CT Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

You will work as a CT Technologist in a 12-bed freestanding emergency room setting at CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus. This is a travel assignment with a 91-day duration, starting May 4, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• 36-hour work week with rotating weekends and holidays
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,522.88

Your Role

You will provide single-staff coverage for both CT and X-ray modalities in an acute stroke-ready environment. You will work independently, handling approximately 80 patients per day (100+ during winter surge periods). Your responsibilities include performing normal emergency room procedures—no surgical procedures or biopsies. You will work with GE Optima CT scanners and GE portable X-ray equipment, and use Meditech and Sectra documentation systems.

Patient Population & Environment

You will manage moderate pediatric volume in a fast-paced emergency setting. The facility includes 7 vertical fast-track areas alongside the main 12-bed emergency room.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential (CT Technologist)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Virginia license or compact state license (required at submission)
• Certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT
