CT Technologist Job in Avon, IN

You will work as a CT Technologist at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana, a community hospital setting. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of July 13, 2026.

Shift and Pay

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Weekly pay: $2,410.56
• Guaranteed 36 hours per workweek

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT(R), BLS, and Indiana radiology license
• ARRT(CT) certification preferred
• ACLS preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred

Role and Responsibilities

You will provide imaging services for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients across a 38-bed ED. You will operate two Philips and one Siemens 256-slice CT scanners and perform a full range of procedures including CT of the abdomen, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, musculoskeletal trauma imaging, myelography, CT arthrography, aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures. You will also perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs as needed. Experience with the Cerner EMR system, Synapse PACS, C-arm, and portable equipment is expected; radiation therapy planning experience is preferred.

Facility Details

The radiology department consists of 85 or more employees and uses Cerner for charting and Synapse for PACS. You will treat patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; pediatric and neonatal experience is preferred. You may be asked to float to sister facilities as needed.
