About this role
Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Emergency Department. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week on a 12-hour schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), starting July 13, 2026.
Role Overview
You will provide direct patient care in a 22-bed emergency department with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The department maintains a minimum of 2 RNs on the unit at all times, ensuring consistent staffing and support. You will not float to other units or departments, allowing you to build continuity and expertise within the ED environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency nursing care across a range of acute and critical presentations
- Document patient information and clinical encounters using the T-system EMR
- Manage medication administration via Pyxis pharmacy automation
- Operate Telestroke equipment for stroke assessment and telemedicine consultation
- Collaborate respectfully with the interdisciplinary team and maintain patient confidentiality
- Adhere to safety protocols and support a cooperative work environment
Qualifications
- Current Wyoming state or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- TNCC certification preferred
What We Provide
You will receive 2–3 days of unit-specific orientation plus hospital orientation to ensure a smooth transition. Weekends are required as part of the schedule. You may wear your own scrubs with no specific color restriction.
Compensation
Weekly pay is $2,362.93. This is a 91-day assignment with flexibility to extend if desired.
