PCU RN Job in LaGrange, GA

Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for its Progressive Care Unit on the night shift. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 91-day contract starting June 16, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide care tailored to population-specific characteristics including age, gender, and disease considerations
• Partner with patients and families through bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching
• Coordinate safe, quality care through clear interdisciplinary communication and documentation
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance initiatives
• Serve as preceptor or mentor to nursing staff and students
• Support efficient use of human and material resources
• Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum

Required qualifications:

• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) upon hire
• ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire
• Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Direct patient care experience preferred

Compensation: $1,864.80 per week.
